Biography - my mom

My mom is one of the most extraordinary people I know. Since I was born, she took care of me with all she had. I know she loves me dearly and will do anything for my family and I.

My mom is diligent and hard working. Every night my mom makes us dinner, even if she doesn’t want to. During the days, she helps my sister and I do our work. Above all of that; she cleans the house and does the washing.

One of the best ways to spoil my mom is by making her a cup of tea. Every time I bring my mom a cup of tea her brown-green eyes lighten up (just remember to keep the tea hot; anything below 50 degrees Celsius is too cold).

My mom may have her little flaws and errors but I love her very much. She is, without doubt, an amazing mom.

Reptiles are quite extraordinary

Reptiles are truly amazing creatures. There are a great variety of reptiles; some are dangerous and others are harmless.

Reptiles are cold blooded, which means that their body temperatures vary from where they are, therefore, they can survive in all environments. Reptiles have scales instead of skin to make them waterproof. All reptiles lay eggs to protect their young.

Snakes have special type of scales under them called scutes. Scutes are the scales that make it possible for snakes to slither on the ground. Another type of reptile namely the chameleon has a tongue that is two and a half times longer than its own body size. The top shell is called the caropus and the bottom shell is called the plasdrawn. Tortoises’ shells protect their vulnerable bodies from predators.

As you can see reptiles are quite extraordinary animals.

My Autobiography

The very first memory that I could remember was my first birthday. My mom baked me a blue, elephant cake, which was absolutely delicious. In fact, it was so tasty I could feel it dancing on my tongue. The blue icing looked as if it was cut out of the sky.

One of the worst memories that I’ve experienced is my first day of school. It was a brand new school building, so there was still a lot of sand. To make things even worse, it rained that day so all the sand turned into dark red-brown mud. By the time I got to class, I looked like a toddler who played in mud. In class I felt like a fish out of water; there were children that I’ve never seen before, as well as new work and a new teacher.

During the 14 years of my life, I can thank God that I never really had any fatal diseases or accidents. The worst sickness that I’ve experience was Asthma, which I had for one and a half years. Fortunately, I never had an Asthma attack in that period. A minor accident that has happened though was when I got stitches in my forehead after I fell on the stairs.

I do not know what I would have done if I didn’t have any friends. Friends entertain me when I’m bored and make me smile even if I don’t want to. Sad to say, I’ve also been “de-friended” by some friends or I “de-friended” them. In my experience, to be “de-friended” is a terrible feeling. Luckily, I don’t really have enemies but there are a few people with their little flaws that I dislike.

Evil radium project plant

Sprinting down the stairs, Alena completely forgot about her radium plant project. She was extremely nervous because if her project was left unsupervised too long, it will increase the radiation level so dramatically that the whole city would have to be evacuated in a few hours. Carefully opening the fridge door, Alena peeped into the fridge to look at her project. Disaster has struck. Alena wished that she never forgot about her project.

Many thoughts raced through Alena’s mind. What was she going to do? Her fatal accident is certainly going to cost her. She was terrified of what was going to happen. All these thoughts overwhelmed her mind.

Unfortunately for Alena, the government discovered her project – arresting her immediately. While evacuating the city, the government hired the best particle engineers on the face of the planet to “disarm” the plant. Luckily for the city the plant was “disarmed”, but poor old Alena got a prison sentence for life.

Descriptive writing (House on the hill)

The wind is singing a depressing, despondent tune as it blows through the rotten, old wood planks. The cold laugh of the windmill echoes through the air, chilling the spine of anyone who is near. The freezing cold air is like liquid nitrogen being poured all over. Smelling the foul air is like choking on metal waste. The smoke is a den that hides mysterious evil creatures lurking about.
